Easter Weekend

Finally after a four year wait our basement is finished. The carpet was installed Saturday morning. It looks great! I am so excited to add an extra 800 sq feet of living area to our home. We are so proud of it and the best part is that we did not accrue any debt from it. We definitely couldn't have done it without the great help of our friends. We are so lucky to know someone in every area of labor work.
Ethan's little body decided to get sick Saturday and has been running high fevers since. The poor little guy was a trooper and tried his best to have a fun Easter Sunday. Thank god for Motrin and Tylenol. Dexter and E stayed home while P and I went to mass. We all went to my sisters for the family Easter egg hunt and dinner. Unfortunately, I dropped and broke my camera in LA so I have to borrow my moms so I can post some pics.
Tomorrow is P's MRI. I am very anxious and nervous to have it done and find out the results. I have to admit that I have been in a bit of denial about all this epilepsy stuff since seeing the neurologist. I really don't like to think about P having to live with a chronic/acute disorder. Its scary to think about all the things that can happen to him and at this age he doesn't "really" know what is going on or what all these tests mean. He is so good about everything though. Please say a prayer for us tonight and tomorrow that the sedation goes smoothly and the MRI is negative for a seizure lesion or anything else. While we are on the prayer note please say a prayer for Jason, Amber and Evan Smith. They are a new family going through some tough times. Please pray that Amber can get over this infection and make it home so their family can be together in one place.

That's all for now, Goodnight!

Thanks Apes - that means a lot to us! Every thought and prayer helps. I will say many prayers for you and your family tonight - hoping that the results are remarkable tomorrow. I cannot wait to come see the basement, it sounds like it is going to be quite the room for gatherings - maybe poker?!?! :)
